Getting started in a health club can be daunting and our popular group fitness classes are a great way to help build your confidence. Exercise classes are a great way for you to stay motivated through accountability and social encouragement. 

To reach and maintain a healthy weight, we should exercise most days of the week for minimum of 30 minutes, our classes make this easy! With a range of fun and motivating classes there will be a class to suit your individual health and fitness goals. 

Group fitness classes are a fun way to exercise and give all members and non-members the opportunity to work out in a group atmosphere with like-minded individuals.

Does my Free 5 Day Trial include Group Fitness?

Yes! 
The Free 5 Day Trial allows you the same access as our FULL ACCESS MEMBERSHIP:

Who teaches the classes?

Certified group fitness instructors will teach all of our classes.
Our group fitness professionals provide quality instructing to motivate you to work out to the best of your ability. With a wealth of knowledge and experience our group fitness instructors are sure to inspire you to achieve your fitness goals. 

Which class should I start with?

In order to cater to a wide variety of members and non-members alike we offer a plethora of exercise classes. Including all different styles of training, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
On the back of our Group Fitness Timetable we have a description of all of our classes.
We encourage you to start with one that sounds appealing to you or your goals.

Example: Spin is a low impact option and would be perfect for somone who is looking to improve cardiovascular function. However, if they do not enjoy bikes HIIT Cardio might be a prefured option.

What if I am new to class?

All new participants are welcome, our friendly and qualified instructors will make you feel welcome and set up. They will introduce themselves and ask if you have any injuries they may need to be aware of. This is to ensure they cater for everyones needs and gives the class options to suite.

What if I am running late to class?

We encourage you to allow pleanty of time to arrive to class. 
For your saftey and the safty of the others in the class each class has a cut off time of 5 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Why? 
Different classes require set up of equipment, moving equipment into the group fitness space while exercise is happeing can be dangerouse. Additionaly each class has a warm up at the beginning of the session, this ensures participants are aduqatly ready for the session ahead, missing the warm up increases risk of injury.
