We have partnered with COTA (Council on the Ageing) to ensure you receive the highest level of service and support in your Strength For Life sessions.

What is Strength for Life? 
Strength For Life is an individualised strength and balance exercise program designed to help people aged 50+ get fit, stay strong, and improve their balance.
The program is delivered by specially trained fitness professionals.

Your accredited instructor will develop a tailored exercise plan just for you.
You can then work towards your goals with like-minded people in a fun and friendly group setting, with ongoing support and encouragement.

Tailored exercise plans help manage chronic conditions, build confidence, and connect you with a community of like-minded people.

What to Expect in Your Assessment
You will meet with one of our Strength For Life – certified Personal Trainers. Together, you will review your forms and discuss your goals, restrictions, and any past injuries.

You will then move into the gym and begin a program designed specifically for you. Your trainer will guide you step by step, ensuring correct posture and movement patterns.

You will receive a copy of your program to use during your Strength For Life sessions.

How to get started?

Step 1 – Enrolment and Pre-Exercise Forms
Each new participant will need to complete a COTA Strength For Life enrolment form and a pre-exercise screening form.
Forms are available via email or at reception if you require a hard copy.

Step 2 – Complete Forms
When completing the pre-exercise form, if you answer yes to one or more questions, you will need to provide medical clearance from your GP or a referral form from a qualified exercise professional (Physio or Exercise Physiologist). If you answer no to all questions, you can proceed to Step 3.

Step 3 – Book a One-on-One Assessment
This is a once-off $30 session.

Class costs are $9.50 per session or are included in Full Access memberships.
