What is Gymnastics?

Gymnastics is a sport that combines strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination through various physical exercises. Beginners typically start with basic skills such as forward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and basic bar or beam work. It’s a great way to develop overall fitness, discipline, and body awareness. Gymnastics classes focus on learning proper techniques and building a strong foundation to progress safely to more advanced skills.

Mini Gymnastics: 4 years of age

Designed for children 4 years of age Mini gymnastics is the perfect way to get your little one moving.

Each session gives the opportunity to have a go on the gymnastics equipment in a safe and engaging way.

Mini’s provides a great base for not only gymnastics but all sports. Students start to build neuromuscular patterning for coordination, strength in movement and how to move safely.

Gymnastics assists in developing strong and healthy bones, increases coordination and proprioceptive awareness. Being in a group environment while being physically active increases social and listening skills as well as being mindful towards others.
